11.)
Our exit strategy would have to wait. I believe
a company like the one I want to start would be best kept as a family business.
I think I would continue working as CEO and founder until my daughter was old
enough to continue on my path. Entering the diaper industry is such a big deal
that I would want to leave it so quickly.
22.)
I selected to keep the business in the family
because I believe its good for a few reasons. First it would be beneficial for
the demographics I target to have a family owned business for marketing purposes.
I think parents are especially susceptible to business they feel they can trust
like a family owned start up company. I’d also like to keep it because of the
hard work I think I would put in if I were able to enter into the industry.
33.)
I do think that with a strategy to keep the
business I will put more effort into delivering a high quality product that
parents can trust. I will keep things close to home and make sure everything
that comes out of a manufacturing plant will have a personal touch of me in it.
Brittney, I think you have some great ideas flowing and i like how you ant to keep the business in your family. A few things that I noticed were minor spelling mistakes and your numbering was a tad off. Overall I really enjoyed sifting through your blog so I am going to attach a link to mine if you would like to check it out also! http://ufstudentpost.blogspot.com/2016/04/my-exit-strategy.html
ReplyDeleteI agree with your choice because the diaper industry is huge and hard to break into. So as long as youre realistically taking market share it doesnt make sense to sell to the big box ones. http://entgarrett.blogspot.com/2016/03/my-exit-strategy.html
ReplyDeleteI had the same exit strategy as you did. I think it is best to keep the company in your family so that your children and grandchildren are guaranteed jobs in the future. Keeping the business will cause you to put in more effort, but in the end will be worth it because of the quality of customer base you will acquire.
